West Visits 3rd Grade Spanish

A group of seniors from Mrs. Rivas-Mintz’ AP Spanish 5 class from Cherry Hill High School West visited Kilmer on Wednesday, March 22. They were accompanied by Mr. Donnelly, their Spanish student-teacher.

The West students taught Spanish teacher, Mrs. Rios’ Day 5, Third Grade and Kindergarten students about Earth Day. They presented a

Bilingual Google Slide Presentation with facts about Earth Day in English and Spanish. Each class also completed a small project with the assistance of the high school students.

The Earth Day lesson was a positive experience for both the Kilmer and the West students!

We enjoyed having the West students visit our school.

We are hoping that they will come visit us again soon!
