Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2016-2017 School Year!

We are one of twelve elementary schools in the Cherry Hill Public School District, and our current enrollment is 450 students. We are proud to be a 2016-2017 No Place for Hate school! This is the 6th consecutive year Joyce Kilmer School has earned this distinction, and Kilmer was the first school in New Jersey to be designated as No Place for Hate. The staff and students at Kilmer place great value on character development, and are continuously striving to make our school a safe, enjoyable place to learn and grow. In our fourth year together, the staff and I seek to create a positive atmosphere conducive to student learning. This year is...The Year of Joy! The faculty will continue to meet daily in ‘professional learning communities’ to examine student learning and discuss strategies for improving instruction. We continue to provide standards-based instruction, and seek to implement best practices in all areas to enhance the learning experience for our students. I invite you to check this site often for updates and information regarding school programs, procedures and events. Please visit my eBoard for detailed information and copies of distributed materials.

Best wishes for an outstanding school year!
